Los Angeles, 2042. The city has survived fires, torrents of rain, anarchy and bloodshed. Angels visited from the heavens to be destroyed by humanity’s hatred. Now a totalitarian city-state, if single, 75, and with no blood relatives to care for you, the elderly disappear, their stories forgotten. Tomorrow is faded Chicana starlet’s Veronica Del Rio’s 75 birthday. With the help of her loud-mouth nurse, a kind-hearted police-man fan, and a down-on-his-luck poet, will she find love before it’s too late?
